I love Catholic Women’s Conferences. The CCWC has made such a significant impact on my life and many others who have attended. I recently received an email about this amazing women’s conference in Zanesville and am excited to share it with you! I have heard several of these speakers personally and would highly recommend them!!
“The Beauty of the Feminine” Catholic Women’s Conference will be held in Zanesville, OH on Saturday October 6, 2012. Join women from across the area for a day devoted to the appreciation of womanhood in the Catholic Church and celebrating the gift of life! This is conference hosted by St. Thomas Catholic Church in Zanesville, Ohio and will be held in the church’s gym.
Sister Mary Diana is a Dominican Sister of the order of St. Cecelia in Nashville, TN. She is also a medical doctor, and practices family medicine in a satellite clinic of a Catholic hospital in Nashville. Her practice serves mostly underprivileged Hispanic and Caucasians.
Emily Stimpson is a freelance Catholic writer based in Steubenville, Ohio, and the author of The Catholic Girl’s Survival Guide for the Single Years.
Fr. Jonathan Wilson, pastor of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Newark, Ohio will speak about the Theology of the Body. He will briefly outline the Church’s consistent teaching on God’s plan for marital love and children and explain how Blessed John Paul’s teaching on the Theology of the Body is the definitive answer to the lies and destructive influence of the sexual revolution.
Teresa Parker is a registered nurse and the person to whom Michael gives credit for bringing him back to the Catholic faith. Dr. Parker, an OBGYN, is an active speaker on Catholic Health Issues, Natural Family Planning, Women’s Health and has testified before legislative committees in favor of Pro-life legislation. He is the Co-host of “The Catholic Doctors Show” with Dr. Will Turek on St. Gabriel Radio, AM 820. Dr. Parker currently serves as the President of the John Paul II Guild of the Catholic Medical Association and is a regional Director for the Catholic Medical Association.
The conference runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm and includes mass and lunch, all for only 20.00!
