Parking
Especially with the cold weather, we’d like you to be prepared for some temporary changes this year with parking. Due to construction at the Ohio Expo Center, we’ve had to make some accommodations.
Below is a parking map along with some important notes.
Kasich Hall, is on the north end of the Ohio Expo Center campus.
Parking is $7 per car and $10 per bus.
We recommend arriving early as we anticipate the parking lot will be very busy. There are multiple events going on at the Expo Center that day.
_____
Directions:
Ohio Expo Center
717 East 17th Ave
Columbus OH 43211
GPS Coordinates: 40.0010493,-82.9875838
Coming from the South:
Take Interstate 71 north to 17th Ave. (Exit 111). Go left (west) on 17th Ave. one block
to the Ohio Expo Center parking lot entrance on your right.
Coming from the North:
Take Interstate 71 south to Hudson St. (Exit 112). At the end of the exit ramp, cross
over Hudson St. and continue straight/south on Silver Dr. Follow Silver Dr. into the
north parking lot of the Ohio Expo Center.

The conference will have 4 school buses that will be operating to move folks closer to the building to the drop-off point (black star on the map). Bus pickups are the black squares on the map.
The buses will run 6:30-9:30 AM and then again from 3:30-6:00 PM
To keep wait times to a minimum, we encourage anyone that is able to please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than usual and consider walking from the parking lots to Kasich Hall entrance. This is so we leave room on the buses for those that most need assistance. However, if there is no long line at the shuttle stop, feel free to use the bus!
Accessible parking is the lot in turquoise on the map and that will also have an ADA shuttle -a 22-passenger airport-type shuttle bus that will get closer to the entrance than the school buses can, see turquoise star on the map.
For any parish that has rented a bus or van to transport to the conference, your bus will be directed to unload at the black star on the map. If you need to ride the ADA shuttle, you will be able to access that shuttle from the parking lot next to the drop-off.
We encourage you not to leave any valuables visible in your car, rather place them in the trunk, out of sight.
Avoiding the Lines, Registration and Seating
Upon arrival, IF YOU HAVE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU, YOU DO NOT NEED TO WAIT IN LINE!!!
We like avoiding lines, so we recommend you print your ticket and CUT IT OUT before you arrive. The ticket also serves as your name tag. Ushers will hand you a name tag sleeve as you enter the main hall.
If you cannot print your ticket, please proceed to the registration table and we will provide you with a name tag. Our volunteers will get your name tag as quickly as possible.
We will begin with music at 7:40 AM. If you’d like a quiet place to pray, you may go upstairs into the Chapel.
Seating is open. If your parish or group would like to reserve seats to sit together, they must send representatives from the parish/organization to save seats.
Please only save the exact amount of seats you will need for ticket holders. We may be in a SOLD OUT situation where every seat will be filled. Ushers may need to seat guests in the open seats within your parish area if they are not all filled by 8am.
Food, What to Wear, and Other Stuff:
Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided by Panera Bread at 7am. Lunch is also provided by Panera. You are welcome to take your breakfast and lunch items back to your seats in the conference area.
Pepsi vending machines will be in the building. 2 are located in the lobby near the entrances and 1 is located outside of the main entrance. Machines accept cash & credit cards.
Tom’s Coffee Shop will sell specialty cafe drinks such as lattes and espressos in the lobby’s cafe area. They will accept cash, card, or tap to pay.
Complimentary water will be available.
The Padre Pio relics will be on hand again and available upstairs in the Adoration Chapel.
A charging station will be available in the concourse (lobby area) this year near registration. Please bring your own phone cord if you wish to utilize them.
The Ohio Expo Center can be a bit drafty. We encourage dressing in layers so you can adjust your temperature throughout the day. While it may be cool in the morning, as the day goes on, it tends to get warmer with so many women present.
We have a dedicated Communion station for those who would like to receive low-gluten hosts. If you have pre-registered for low-gluten host, look for a sign designated for that communion station.
Spanish and hearing-impaired headsets will once again be available free of charge.
There will be a Mother’s Room upstairs this year for mom’s to attend to their baby’s needs.
Conference tickets are non-refundable; however, if you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another guest.
We are excited to announce that the conference will be broadcast LIVE on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820. If you are no longer able to attend you can still listen to the speakers on AM 820 or stgabrielradio.com. You can encourage your out-of-town friends to listen live on the website.
If you would like to support the conference by mentioning us on social media, our hashtag this year is #CCWC25

Finally, we are very excited to have many organizations and vendors attending our conference this year. Please remember to visit their tables! We are sure you will find something or someone that will touch your heart at these tables. Please note that some of these vendors may only accept cash or checks. Each of our speakers has a table as well. Please be sure to check your program on Saturday for a list of all the vendors/organizations.
Scooters
If you would like to rent a mobility scooter, we have partnered with Judy’s Scootys to offer you that option. You can follow this link to fill out the form.
Have a question?
Our volunteers will be wearing pink shirts with “VOLUNTEER” on the backs. The Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference is a non-profit organization staffed by an ALL VOLUNTEER team. We all feel it is an honor to be a part of such an amazing, enriching, and spiritual day and we are here to help!
Countless hours have been spent over the past year preparing for this special day. We hope that you find the conference to be a wonderful and meaningful event.
Drive safely and see you on Saturday, February 15!
Blessings,
The 2025 Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference Committee
