When is the conference? The 2019 conference will be held on February 15, 2020 from 8 am to 4:30 pm at the Ohio Expo Center Kasich Hall Building (previously known as Cardinal Hall) –  717 E. 17th Ave. Columbus, OH 43211.

Where is my ticket? If you successfully registered online, your ticket will have been available to print. Please bring it with you to the conference. It is your admission ticket and also your name tag. If you registered by mail and included an email address, it will be emailed to you. If you do not provide an email, you will  be able to collect your ticket at the registration desk the day of the conference.

I lost my confirmation email, how can I print my tickets? If you successfully registered online and received a confirmation email(s) but are having a hard time tracking those emails down, follow this link to have all the tickets tied to that email address sent to you again: Email me my tickets.

HELP!!  I can’t print my ticket!  Now what? We first recommend that you forward your email confirmation to a friend or relative to see if they can print for you.   If you are unable to print, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.  We will have a print out of all the tickets the day of the conference and you can receive by stopping at the registration desk the day of the conference.

Can I attend this event if I am not Catholic? Yes, we welcome women of all faiths.

Is my registration fee refundable if I am unable to attend? No, registration fees are not refundable. However they are transferable. You may change your ticket information at any time by clicking “manage ticket purchase” on the confirmation email you received.

What will be served for lunch? What if I have dietary restrictions? A catered box lunch will be provided. A vegetarian meal and gluten free lunch will be offered.  Please be sure to indicate your menu choice when you register.

Will there be low gluten hosts available for mass? Yes, YOU MUST INDICATE YOU WOULD LIKE  A LOW GLUTEN HOST WITH YOUR MEAL CHOICE.  Please notify an usher if you would like a low gluten host before mass.  Directions will be given prior to mass where the low gluten communion station will be.  For more information on low gluten hosts and celiac disease, read this article from the USCCB on A Short Introduction to Holy Communion and Celiac Sprue Disease

Low gluten hosts are provided by the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.  For more information on the gluten content of the low gluten hosts that will be provided at mass, click here.

Is Kasich Hall handicapped accessible? Yes. If you need additional assistance and special seating, please mark that when registering. If you have specific questions about accessibility, please contact us. Valet parking is also available for those in need of assistance. A handicapped sticker is not required to take advantage of the valet parking. 

Spanish Interpreters. Spanish interpreting is provided and available through headsets. The headsets are free to rent but please note that you must leave a driver’s license at the rental table while using the headset.  Please mark that you need translation services when registering.

Sign Language Interpreting. Is available upon request. Please mark your registration that you are in need of these services. If it is within a week of the conference, please contact us at [email protected] to insure that we will have that service available for you.

Can I buy a ticket at the door? For planning purposes we strongly encourage you to pre-register, but you can walk-in the day if the conference for $45.

How can I buy a ticket without using the internet or a credit card? We prefer that you register online. If you do not have a credit card, you may pre-register by mail with a check. Use the form here: 2020 form coming soon.

What kind of vendors will be at the conference?
Due to the focus of the conference, as well as physical limitations, we are limiting the exhibitors to those that align with our mission to bring women closer to Christ. Some vendors may not accept credit cards, so please plan accordingly.

Is this event diocesan wide? Yes, the conference is for all women in the Columbus Diocese and even to those who live outside of our diocese.

Will there be a Mass?
Yes, the conference will open with Saturday daily Mass at 8:00 a.m. Bishop Campbell will preside over Mass.  The vendors WILL NOT be open during Mass.
May my son or daughter attend?
Yes, he or she may. The conference may be a wonderful  bonding time. The speakers’ topics are geared toward adults, so while each child is different, kids younger than high school might not be mature enough to fully comprehend the topics. There is a discounted rate for students.
I see the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered, am I expected to go?
No, you do not have to go. Reconciliation should be beautiful and not an intimidating experience, a sacrament designed by God to let Him carry your heavy burdens. If you do not feel called to attend, feel free to shop our many vendors, enjoy the catered lunch, or visit with the speakers and other attendees. No one will judge you if you do not go.

I have fallen away from the Church and am hesitant to attend, am I welcome?
You are fully and completely welcome. We want you to come, to take that one step back toward God and His church. Sometimes all it takes is just one step to bring about a major change. Since the inception of the planning efforts, the planning committee has been praying specifically for you, that you will come home.

Can I bring my baby to the women’s conference?
We leave this up to your discretion.  We try to have a small room set aside for nursing mothers.   If you bring an infant,  we would ask you to be considerate.  If your child is fussy or crying, please take them out of the main conference area during the speaker’s talks.

Can I receive Catechist Certification Enrichment hours for attending the conference? Yes! Use the usual Process, 11.9A form and you will receive 3 hours of enrichment upon receipt by the Office of Religious Education and Catechesis.

 Is there a Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference? The  Annual Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference – will be held February 23, 2016 at the Cardinal Building, Ohio Expo Center 717 E. 17th Ave, Columbus Ohio 43211. The day begins with adoration at 6:00 a.m., registration / breakfast/ fellowship at 7:00 a.m., and conference 8:00 a.m., and ends around 2:45 p.m.

The benefit of having a printed ticket is that you can go straight into the conference without having to stop in any lines in the lobby.
