Avoiding the Lines, Registration and Seating

Upon arrival, IF YOU HAVE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU, YOU DO NOT NEED TO WAIT IN LINE!!!

We like avoiding lines, so we recommend you print your ticket and CUT IT OUT before you arrive. The ticket also serves as your name tag. Ushers will hand you a name tag sleeve as you enter the main hall.

If you cannot print your ticket, please proceed to the registration table and we will provide you with a name tag. Our volunteers will get your name tag as quickly as possible.

Tickets can also be purchased online the day of for $50 each using a credit card. Please use your phone or purchase at home before you leave. If you are unable to print out your ticket, please go to the registration table to get a nametag.

Cash or check purchases can be made at the registration table.

We will begin with music at 7:45am. If you’d like a quiet place to pray, you may go upstairs into the Chapel.

Seating is open. If your parish or group would like to reserve seats to sit together, they must send representatives from the parish/organization to save seats. To save a row, two people must be in each row reserved, one at each end.

Food, What to Wear, and Other Stuff:

Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided by Panera Bread at 7am. Lunch is also provided by Panera. You are welcome to take your breakfast and lunch items back to your seats in the conference area.

Pepsi vending machines will be in the building. There will be 2 in the eating area and 2 in the concourse (Lobby area). Machines accept cash & credit cards. Complimentary water will still be available.

A charging station will be available in the concourse (lobby area) this year near registration. Please bring your own phone cord if you wish to utilize them.

The Ohio Expo Center can be a bit drafty. We encourage dressing in layers so you can adjust your temperature throughout the day. While it may be cool in the morning, as the day goes on, it tends to get warmer with so many women present.

We have a dedicated Communion station for those who would like to receive low-gluten hosts. If you have pre-registered for low-gluten host, look for a sign designated for that communion station.

Spanish and hearing-impaired headsets will once again be available free of charge.

There will be a Mother’s Room upstairs this year for mom’s to attend to their baby’s needs.

Conference tickets are non-refundable; however, if you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another guest. We are excited to announce that the conference will be broadcast LIVE on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820, so if you are no longer able to attend you can still listen to the speakers on AM 820 or www.stgabrielradio.com. Encourage your out-of-town friends to listen live on the website.

If you would like to support the conference by mentioning us on social media, our hashtag this year is #CCWC24

We are sure you will find something or someone that will touch your heart at these tables. Please note that some of these vendors may only accept cash or checks. Each of our speakers has a table as well. Please be sure to check your program on Saturday for a list of all the vendors/organizations.

Scooters

If you would like to rent a mobility scooter, we have partnered with Judy’s Scootys to offer you that option. You can follow this link to fill out the form.

St. Padre Pio Relics

Spend some time venerating the Padre Pio relics, including his glove, available at the Conference throughout the day. Veneration will be closed during Adoration and Mass.

Have a question?

Our volunteers will be wearing navy blue shirts with “VOLUNTEER” on the backs. The Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference is a non-profit organization staffed by an ALL VOLUNTEER team. We all feel it is an honor to be a part of such an amazing, enriching, and spiritual day and we are here to help!

Countless hours have been spent over the past year preparing for this special day. We hope that you find the conference to be a wonderful and meaningful event.

Drive safely and see you on Saturday, February 17!

Blessings,
The 2024 Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference Committee
