Parking

Kasich Hall, is on the north end of the Ohio Expo Center campus.

We recommend arriving early as we anticipate the parking lot will be very busy. There are multiple events going on at the Expo Center that day.

Follow the BLUE FLAGS when parking.

From I-71, take 17th Ave exit and travel west towards the Ohio Expo Center. Turn right at first drive towards toll booth plaza. Proceed northbound to parking area (red area on map). For ACCESSIBLE PARKING (follow blue route on map), turn left and proceed southbound to 17th Ave., turn right on 17th Ave., then turn right at first drive past toll booth and park immediately in front of (west of) Kasich Hall (blue area on map). Bus parking is also in front of Kasich Hall (yellow area on map). Priest and Clergy parking is reserved just north of Kasich Hall (purple area on map).

From the west, take 17th Ave eastbound and turn left into drive at toll booth. Proceed northbound to parking area (red area on map). For ACCESSIBLE PARKING, proceed slightly northbound and park immediately in front of (west of) Kasich Hall (blue area on map). Bus parking is also in front of Kasich Hall (yellow area on map). Priest and Clergy parking is reserved just north of Kasich Hall (purple area on map).

You may also drop off people unable to walk the distance of the parking lot at the building. FOLLOW THE BLUE ROUTE TO THE ACCESIBLE AREA AND FRONT OF THE BUILDING. After dropping off, continue north to parking lot. There is no valet parking.

Please anticipate having a few minute walk from your parking spot to Kasich Hall. You will enter into the building areas through the Cardinal Gate Entrance, Gate 1. Look for the large cardinal.

Kasich Hall Entrance

We encourage you not to leave any valuables visible in your car, rather place them in the trunk, out of sight.

Please do not park in the designated priest parking area. We have many priests coming to hear confessions and they need to be able to park as close to the building as possible so that they can return to their parishes for Vigil Mass.

Avoiding the Lines, Registration and Seating

Upon arrival, IF YOU HAVE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU, YOU DO NOT NEED TO WAIT IN LINE!!!

We like avoiding lines, so we recommend you print your ticket and CUT IT OUT before you arrive. The ticket also serves as your name tag. Ushers will hand you a name tag sleeve as you enter the main hall.

If you cannot print your ticket, please proceed to the registration table and we will provide you with a name tag. Our volunteers will get your name tag as quickly as possible.

Tickets can also be purchased at the registration table for $45 each for regular tickets and $35 for students. Cash, checks, or credit cards are accepted.

We will begin with music at 7:15am. If you’d like a quiet place to pray, you may go upstairs into the Chapel.

If you are coming in after 8:00 am. please follow the ushers’ directions on how to enter the hall as to not interrupt Mass.

Seating is open. If your parish or group would like to reserve seats to sit together, they must send representatives from the parish/organization to save seats. To save a row, two people must be in each row reserved, one at each end. At 8:00 am, no more seats can be saved.

Food, What to Wear, and Other Stuff:

Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided by Panera Bread. Lunch is also provided by Panera. You are welcome to take your breakfast and lunch items back to your seats in the conference area.

The Ohio Expo Center can be a bit drafty. We encourage dressing in layers so you can adjust your temperature throughout the day. While it may be cool in the morning, as the day goes on, it tends to get warmer with so many women present.

We have a dedicated Communion station for those who would like to receive low-gluten hosts. If you have pre-registered for low-gluten host, look for a sign designated for that communion station.

Conference tickets are non-refundable; however, if you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another guest. We are excited to announce that the conference will be broadcast LIVE on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820, so if you are no longer able to attend you can still listen to the speakers on AM 820 or www.stgabrielradio.com. Encourage your out-of-town friends to listen live on the web.

If you would like to support the conference by mentioning us on social media, our hashtag this year is #CCWC23

Finally, we are very excited to have many organizations and vendors attending our conference this year. Please remember to visit their tables! We are sure you will find something or someone that will touch your heart at these tables. Please note that some of these vendors may only accept cash or checks. Each of our speakers has a table as well. Please be sure to check your program on Saturday for a list of all the vendors/organizations.

Have a question?

Our volunteers will be wearing grey shirts with “VOLUNTEER” on the backs. The Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference is a non-profit organization staffed by an ALL VOLUNTEER team. We all feel it is an honor to be a part of such an amazing, enriching, and spiritual day and we are here to help!

Countless hours have been spent over the past year preparing for this special day. We hope that you find the conference to be a wonderful and meaningful event.

Drive safely and see you on Saturday, February 18!

Blessings,
The 2023 Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference Committee
